We perform surgeries for a variety of reasons at RRAC, from a routine neuter to emergency foreign body removal, no matter the situation we strive to treat each case with the highest level of professionalism, compassion and adherence to current medical standards. Our skilled staff routinely receive Continuing Education credits to stay up to date with the latest improvements in the medical field which ultimately help them to ensure your pets' surgery is successful.
As a pet owner, you most likely will schedule your pet for a surgery within the first year of its life. If your pet lives a long, healthy life, this may be its only surgery! The veterinarians at RRAC perform surgeries 4 days a week, with the most common being a SPAY for females and a NEUTER for males. Our doctors have a combined 100 years of experience and work closely with one another to ensure your pets' safety and successful recovery for any surgery procedure.
We require an exam before scheduling any pet for surgery unless it's on an extreme emergency basis. During the initial exam, the doctor will go over the details of the surgery, the recovery period and complete pre-surgery blood work. At that appointment, we can schedule a surgery date with your pet being dropped off in the morning and picked up later that same afternoon. Please call our office to schedule an initial surgical exam or send us a text through our Pet Desk App.
